Kinda long queue, but food is decent! Owner is very bubbly and cheerful! Pretty pricey probably due to the location, but food quantity is plenty! Had the Seafood Hotpot ($34) with add-on rice ($1) and noodle ($3). Noodle is not worth $3 when i can get awesome Bak Chor Mee at the hawker opposite for $3 as well
Hanwoori has the best variety of banchan around, with 10 side dishes ranging from kimchi to black beans, plus they are refillable which is a norm in korean restaurants. I have been eating at Hanwoori for a couple of years already since i live in the vicinity and i must say, it is pretty authentic and one of the better korean restaurants in singapore. I had the beef stew, oxtail soup, samgyetang, bibimbap, kimchi jigae and pancakes and they tasted really good, although the samgyetang was a little bland as they don't add the salt for you. One of the dishes i really recommend would be the beef stew and oxtail soup ! It can get pretty crowded on the weekends so i would recommend to come on week days or off peak periods (late lunch etc). The korean lady boss is really friendly and the atmosphere almost feels as though you're in a restaurant back in korea. Great value for money !
Been coming here many times, and the food is really good. No frills but great home cooked taste. One of the better Jjim Dak I have tasted, not that manufactured taste of mass chain stores, this Jjim Dak taste like it is home cooked. Great value for money.
Nice authentic Korean food and friendly staffs made my day... The pork and beef are real good quality which are consistent in my visits.
